  1. Overview:

At Adventure Cares, we strive to make our cancellation and refund policies clear and fair. This document outlines the procedure for policy cancellation, refund eligibility, and the terms and conditions associated with them.

  1. Cancellation Policy:

    • Cancellation Charges

    More than 30 Days Before Policy Start Date: A minimum 5% fee will apply to any cancellation made more than 30 days before the start date.

    More than 7 Days Before Policy Start Date:

    • 30% fee if canceled within 30 to 15 days before the start date.
    • 50% fee if canceled within 14 to 8 days before the start date.

    Within 7 Days of the Policy Start Date: No refund will be provided if cancellation is requested within 7 days of the policy start date.

    • Non-Refundable Situations: No refunds will be issued in the following case:

      If cancellation is requested within 7 days of the policy start date.

    Example of the 7th Day Rule:

    • Policy Start Date: October 15, 2024
    • 7th Day Before Start Date: October 8, 2024

    If you cancel before October 8, 2024, you are eligible for a refund according to the policy, subject to the applicable fees. If you cancel on or after October 8, 2024, it falls within 7 days of the policy start date, and no refund will be issued.

  2. Refund Policy

    Eligibility for Refund: Refunds may be available under these conditions:

    • More than 7 Days Before Policy Start Date: A refund may be issued if cancellation is requested more than 7 days before the policy starts.
    • Non-Transferable: The policy is non-transferable under any circumstances.

    Chargeback Claim Requests: Once the policy is active, it is non-refundable, even if no claims have been made. Chargeback claims initiated with your payment provider after purchase will not be eligible for a refund. Adventure Cares will contest such claims as no refunds are issued once the policy is active.

  3. Policy Amendments

    Adventure Cares allows amendments to the policy's dates or other details free of charge, provided the request is made before the policy's start date.

    Important Note: We urge all policyholders to carefully review their documents and details before the policy start date. Once the policy has started, changes cannot be made, and the details cannot be altered.

  4. Refund Process

    To request a refund:

    • Submit a Request: Contact Adventure Cares customer service via email or phone with your policy number, reason for cancellation, and any supporting documents.
    • Review: We will review your request to check if you meet the eligibility criteria.
    • Decision: You will receive a decision within 7 business days of your request.
    • Refund Payment: If approved, the refund will be processed within 14 business days after the approval of the request and will be issued to the original payment method.
